POINT OF VIEW

This week we will hear the details of the SNP budget proposals as agreed and supported by the Green list MSPS, which should include a complete review of the council tax system in Scotland, which is so inappropriate and unfair as a local tax. The SNP have broken promises to the electorate to review the council tax system for many years but perhaps with the threat of losing support for their budget at Holyrood they will concede defeat and finally agree to a review.
