Chinese torture

I suppose the fact that we didn’t actually lose any ground to our relegation rivals on Saturday made it a not unacceptable weekend for Accies. The truth is that Hibs clearly deserved the win, being a better team than we are.

We gave the Edinburgh side a decent match but our lack of quality throughout the team shone through.

For Accies fans, this season is like the ancient Chinese torture of death by a thousand cuts, in which each individual dismal appearance isn’t enough on its own to kill us off but the accumulative effect will do the trick nicely.

We now get to play Rangers and Kilmarnock in our next two matches; somehow I suspect that our allocation of Rangers tickets might not sell out.
