Paedophile who raped two girls jailed for 11 years

A sex attacker who raped two young girls has been jailed for 11 years.

William Brown preyed on his victims between 1982 and 2004.

The crimes – which the 61 year-old had denied – occurred at different locations in Fife.

Brown was jailed at the High Court in Glasgow.

He had previously been found guilty after a trial in Edinburgh of four charges including rape and lewd and libidinous behaviour.

Lord Kinclaven said that Brown, of Leven, Fife, had been convicted of crimes against “vulnerable young females”.
