Alloa Athletic Excellent response

Alloa fought back from a two-goal deficit to pick up a point in the basement battle at Falkirk on Saturday. While I was both delighted and relieved at the spirit shown by the players to recover, I still felt this was a missed opportunity, with Falkirk looking really vulnerable at the back.

Falkirk’s second goal by Paul Paton was well worked, but we picked the worst possible time to also start becoming generous to the opposition. Still the response was excellent, dominating much of the second half and earning a deserved point.

Alloa visit Firhill this weekend and I’m quite confident of picking up a result there, providing a couple of lessons are learned from Saturday.
