Dundee United Honeymoon over
Saturday’s disappointing draw at Cappielow was not the reaction the United faithful were looking for after the Ayr debacle. It doesn’t help when your keeper is throwing them in the back of the net but, if we cannot go to places such as Morton and win, we are unlikely to be league champions.
Robbie Neilson’s honeymoon appears to be over and if our league aspiration aren’t to follow suit we need to embark on a great run of results. This is unlikely given our post-christmas form over the past few seasons.
If we throw into the mix our very poor player recruitment record in the January window, it looks like play-off football come the end of the season.
