Partick Thistle Turning point

- Raymond Stark

It finally happened on Saturday, Thistle won a game! In all seriousness this was a deserved win for the Jags who, apart from a ten-minute spell just before half-time, dominated the game.

The passing was quicker, there was more movement off the ball, using the wide areas well and getting bodies in the box, which all contributed to a victory that moved us to the dizzy heights of eighth in the league.

Of course it will count for nothing if we don’t follow it up with three points against Alloa this weekend. It is to be hoped that defeating Dunfermline may be a turning point that leads to a decent run of wins. It was good to see Miles Storey get his goal as his overall performance deserved it. We all know the talent is there.
