Many Formula 1 pundits and fans are canvassing for Lewis Hamilton to be included in the honours list.

Hamilton is easily the fastest and the best driver on the F1 circuit, and when he has the best car will win fairly often.

While he is a suitable candidate to receive a knighthood, he does not pay any tax in the UK on the millions he earns each year.

We should make sure that the honours list promotes people who live in the UK and also pay their taxes here. Hamilton is not one of them.
