Glasgow HR tech firm gives headcount a lift

- By SCOTT REID

Glasgow-based recruitment tech start-up Candidate ID is to create ten jobs next month in a major boost to its workforce.

The firm, which counts the likes of Capita, Mondelez International and Specsavers among its clients, was founded in 2016 by Adam Gordon and Scot Mcrae with their “talent pipeline” software coming to market at the start of last year. It already employs 15 people at its Broomielaw site.

The new roles will include a chief financial officer plus positions in sales, service and technology.

Gordon said: “Having now been in the market for 23 months, we are very confident about accelerating growth during 2019.

“The new hires come in advance of a large fund-raising we will be undertaking in mid-2019 to facilitate expansion to the US and Asia Pacific. Winning the recruitment stream of the start-up competition at Unleash, the world’s biggest HR event, in October was a big milestone for us.”
