Thomas takes the top spot

Cy­cling’s Geraint Thomas, the 2018 Tour de France win­ner, took home the BBC Sports Per­son­al­ity of the Year tro­phy last night. Sec­ond was For­mula One star Lewis Hamil­ton and third was foot­baller Harry Kane. Team of the Year was Eng­land Net­ball and the Life­time Achieve­ment award went to ten­nis leg­end Bil­lie Jean King. Scot Kirsty Ewen, a swimming coach from In­ver­ness, won the Un­sung Hero award.
