Elgin housebuilder expands private housing with MD roles

Dave Main, who has been with the Elgin housebuilder for almost 20 years, has been promoted from development manager to MD for the north of Scotland (private housing). Peter Matthews, a former senior executive at Keepmoat Homes and Taylor Wimpey, has joined Springfield as MD for central Scotland (private housing). Chief executive Innes Smith said: “We are delighted to have appointed Dave and Peter to these newly created MD positions to support our fast-growing private housing division.”
● The Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group has made a senior hire to lead the team at its North Berwick home and has also taken on its first group recruitment manager. Hilary Forbes joins as manager at Fidra House in the town, bringing four decades of experience in the care sector, while Owen Edwards joins Randolph Hill in the newly created role of group recruitment manager. He will be responsible for sourcing staff for the company’s six nursing homes across central Scotland.

Keith Oliver 54-strong team, will play a key role in delivering advice and managing the firm’s client base which includes individuals, families, business owners and executives. His appointment follows the recent move of partners Gregor Mitchell and Douglas Hunter from Addleshaw Goddard to Morton Fraser.

Clement joins from Currie & Brown, formerly Sweett Group, where he was regional director of project management, and before that headed his own consultancy. With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Clement has been involved in some of Scotland’s largest development projects including the Aggreko factory at Lomondgate in Dumbarton and Edinburgh Airport.
● Chris Johnstone has joined well construction specialist Deltatek Global as operations supervisor. Johnstone, previously a wellsite drilling engineer and performance coach at Enquest, will manage wellsite operations offshore and help to design and develop new technologies.
