MPS have voted to back an amendment by Tory MP Dominic Grieve demanding Theresa May returns with a plan B within three days in the event she loses next week’s vote on her Brexit deal.
@Manuel_tssa posted: “It’s clear that no-deal and May’s botched deal are both dead ducks – Article 50 needs to be revoked as a matter of urgency before we fall off the #Brexit cliff!”
@Thesaczak added: “Corbyn outplays May at #PMQS. The Government suffers two significant defeats on #Brexit within 24 hours. And there are still six days of debate before the vote. Finally, the UK is taking back control.”
@Thinkingbrit exclaimed: “Listen up politicians. The country is watching. You asked us a specific question & we chose to leave the EU. You MUST facilitate this decision.”
#ALEXSALMOND
A Holyrood inquiry is being called for by the Scottish Tories into the “shambles” surrounding the botched sexual harassment probe into former First Minister Alex Salmond. @Humdrum141 tweeted: “Would be nice to know why she kept in touch with the former #Firstminister and leader of #SNP after yesterday apologising personally to the women who brought the claims against #Alexsalmond #Doublestandards #Doubledealing.” @Charlieukey declared: “#Nicolasturgeon must now move to demand the resignation of both #Leslieevans and #Judithmackinnon. Both fully deserve to lose their jobs. The #Alexsalmond stitch up.” @Sassycsays added: “#Alexsalmond #Tommy Sheridan #Craig Murray #Julian Assange #Livesruined.”
#KATIEPRICE
Former glamour model Katie Price told a court she was unable to immediately pay a £1,100 fine as she was yesterday banned from driving for a second time. @Openwater22 questioned: “She can pay for personal security but not her fine.” @Wiggy_72 continued: “Katie Price pleads guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance . .
. let’s hope it’s a long ban, what are people thinking of driving whilst drunk and no insurance, car is a loaded weapon, seems one rule for one and one for another.”
