Entire village is threatened by coastal erosion
Campaigners have warned an entire village in Moray could be wiped out by coastal erosion.
Council officials will visit the site next week to look at the issue after stark predictions that the community could be completely destroyed.
Local experts say that without action the entire beach behind which Kingston-on-spey shelters will be swept away within a matter of years leaving the village without protection. They fear one more giant storm – like the one which hit in December 2014 – could destroy the beach and endanger the village.
