Care home cleared of wrongdoing

A sheriff has cleared a care home of any blame in connection with the death of an elderly patient after her family complained about her treatment.

Christina Wilson, 72, passed away in the Highview House Care Home, Inverness, after a period of illness. She had been moved to the home in May 2013 after being discharged from hospital where she had undergone operations. The mother-of-three died three weeks later.
