Neverland?
The UK will be plunged into uncertainty and may never leave the European Union if MPS reject the Brexit deal, Theresa May has warned.
In the next few days MPS will have another opportunity to support the UK government’s plan to leave the EU (Theresa’s deal with backstop). If they don’t support it then it’s hard to
imagine we will leave the EU.
parodypax Welcome to the Hotel California. You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.
hazelsmith We leave deal or no deal, that’s it.
chocablock That’s as clear a “there will be no No Deal” as you’re likely to hear. On International Woman’s day, too. Way to go, Treez!
Rockman Rock We leave on the 29th of this month – I along with over a hundred thousand others got a text message to confirm the date would not be changed. As Mrs May herself said: “No deal is better than a bad deal” and the surrender document we were supposed to sign – all the other countries were to sign later after they had added their shopping list – was a disgrace.
Aberdeenshire This deal is the best deal the EU will offer us. It is designed in a way that won’t go through Parliament so the EU can undemocratically keep us in the EU. We keep hearing it is a damaging Tory Brexit, but I don’t understand why none of these grievances are directed at the EU. All those opposed to the deal should also be demanding the EU comes back to the negotiating table and give a better deal. Mike Lowery against SNP hatred She had plenty of time to build the infrastructure, train the people and put in the remaining checks and balances to ensure a smooth, orderly no deal scenario on these shores. Let’s not forget Article 50 had not been triggered when she became PM. She had the time and the opportunity to do this properly. I genuinely believe that not only do we need the infrastructure as things stand but the EU position would be massively different.
