The Queen, Patron, accompanie­d by The Duchess of Cambridge, this morning opened Bush House, King’s College London, Strand, London WC2, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Chairman of the Council (the Lord Geidt) and Councillor Lindsey Hall (Lord Mayor of City of Westminste­r). Her Majesty, escorted by the Chairman of the Council, and Her Royal Highness, escorted by Professor Edward Byrne (President and Principal), toured the Building, viewing a robotics demonstrat­ion and a virtual trading room, and met students, members of staff and supporters.

The Rt. Hon. Theresa May MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investitur­e at Buckingham Palace this morning. CLARENCE HOUSE

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall today carried out engagement­s in Barbados. Their Royal Highnesses this morning called upon the Governorge­neral (Dame Sandra Mason) at Government House, Bridgetown. The Prince of Wales, accompanie­d by The Duchess of Cornwall, afterwards laid a wreath at the Cenotaph, Heroes Square, Bridgetown, and subsequent­ly presented the new Colour to the Barbados Coast Guard.

His Royal Highness later held a Meeting with the Prime Minister of Barbados (the Rt. Hon. Mia Mottley), Parliament Buildings, Bridgetown.
