Woman swept to death at sea named by police
A woman who died after being swept into the sea in the Western Isles has been named by police.
Agnes Proudhon-smith, 50, was recovered from the water by helicopter on the Isle of Harris on Wednesday. The Londoner was transported to the Western Isles Hospital in Stornoway where she was pronounced dead.
The coastguard received a call to Nisabost beach near Horgabost at 7:45am.
