Driver who died in Highlands crash named

A motorist who died in a crash in the Highlands has been named.

Ian Bremner, 74, was driving on the A938 near Grantown-on-spey on Wednesday when the collision happened near Dulnain Bridge.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened at around 8:20pm.

Police offered their condolences to relatives of Mr Bremner, from Strathpeffer.

Road Policing Sergeant Chris Murray said: “Our thoughts remain with Mr Bremner’s family and friends at this time.”
