Chris Packham, Liz Bonnin and Steve Backshall kick off a new live series exploring the health of our oceans and that of the wildlife which lives there, broadcasting from locations thousands of miles apart to find out how marine life is coping in the face of increasing environmental pressure.

In the first episode, Chris pairs up with scientists at the world’s biggest whale nursery in Mexico, Steve dives with sharks in the Bahamas and Liz reports from the Great Barrier Reef. Tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday, BBC1, 8pm
