Sealed with a fish: Loch of the Lowes osprey pair return for fifth breeding season together
A pair of ospreys have returned to the Loch of Lowes wildlife reserve near Dunkeld in Perthshire for their fifth season together. The birds are known by the designations LM12 and LF15. The female arrived at the reserve on Saturday. Her mate, who arrived eight days earlier, brought her a fish within half an hour of her landing. Ospreys have been brought back from extinction in the UK.
