Police make arrest over death of man in flat

A man has been charged in connection with the death of another man at a flat in Greenock.

Emergency services were called after reports that a man was seriously hurt at a property in Nelson Street at about 5:45am on Sunday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said a 29-yearold man had now been charged in connection with the death. He is expected to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court today.

Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the Nelson Street area between midnight and 5:45am on Sunday.
