Give us a wave: Lives of Hebridean surfers on show in exhibition

Artist Laura Maynard shows off her pictures of surfers based in the Hebrides, who are attracted to the area by the waves and the way of life.

Ms Maynard’s debut solo exhibition, Wave Migration, features 15 surfers who have chosen to stay in – or settle in – the Isle of Lewis, rather than follow other young people to Scotland’s cities. It opens at An Lanntair in Stornoway on 6 April.
