Good example
Roc Sandford, unlike many politicians and green zealots, practices what he preaches.
Although a millionaire he regularly travels to and from his London home to spend four months on the isle of Gometra, west of Ulva (your report 23 March). He only uses public transport or his bike and has not flown or owned a car in ten years.
I wager that fewer than one per cent of the students taking truant time off from their studies will follow his example and not buy, or travel in, a car, or give up their “made in China” fossil-fuel-created goods.
