St Mirren Morale is high

The international break was a chance for some Saints fans to take their eyes off the league table for a few days, but Scotland’s poor performances against Kazakhstan and San Marino would have done little to offer a distraction.

The return to league action takes the Buddies to Perth against St Johnstone – the start of a tightly scheduled run in to the split, with Oran Kearney’s men having to play four games in 14 days.

Three of those are must-wins in the battle against the drop but, with a recent upturn in fortunes, confidence to take maximum points against the Saintees, Dundee and Hamilton is at a high.
