Where’s Nigel?

-

On the referendum vote, the majority of the people made the decision to Leave. Since then the Establishment has continually been on the side of Remain, with the result the EU did not need to make a case as to why we should stay. Every past and present big political figure who can present a case for Remain has been presented to us by the media. Yet, the main architect of us voting to Leave, Nigel Farage, seems to have gone missing!

Despite all the bad press Theresa May has been given, I sincerely believe if given a chance to vote again, the majority of the people in our country would vote for her before all the rest of our politicians.

Tory MP Andrew Bridgen says “the British people” have been betrayed by parliament voting to take control of the Brexit shambles. But who exactly is he talking about? Certainly not the 62 per cent of Scottish, 56 per cent of Northern Irish and 47 per cent of English Remain voters. Certainly not the 5.5 million (to date) who have signed a parliamentary petition to revoke Article 50. Nor the million people who marched against leaving the EU in London recently. And definitely not the 28 per cent of the UK who didn’t even bother to vote in the referendum.

It seems Mr Bridgen, as well

as getting his facts wrong, thinks “England” is “the British people”.

The whole Brexit fiasco was created by David Cameron and his London-centric Tory government.

The bulk of money is, as always based in the south east of England, despite years of failed attempts to distribute offices and functions across the country

It comes as no surprise that the DUP for Northern Ireland, however unsuccessfully, are being bribed for support. then there are the latest financial offers to the most challenged parts of the country to try and stitch things together

There is no more United kingdom and as soon as we recognise that we can move on
