New cars sold in the UK from 2022 are set to have devices fitted to stop them breaking the speed limit.

The Edinburgh International Festival could be thrown into chaos in the event of a no-deal Brexit, director Fergus Linehan warned as he unveiled its 2019 programme. The programme opens with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra playing at Tynecastle Park. @Stanleyhardy16 countered: “So what? The general public will be dying from lack of medicines and food.”

A biography about former first lady Barbara Bush details her distrust of US president Donald Trump and her estrangement from the Republican Party. The Matriarch by Susan Page is set to be released next month.
