Queen of the South Marking a milestone

Anyone hoping the international break would be a welcome distraction from our current struggles was sadly disappointed as Scotland put in a couple of performances every bit as abject as those seen at Palmerston recently.

Thankfully there were a few goings-on at the club to divert our attention. Saturday saw us beat Hearts 2-1 in a bounce game. Stephen Dobbie scored both but Josh Todd making a return from injury was the main talking point. On Saturday night an event was held to mark our Centenary and induct another five entrants into our Hall of Fame, Dobbie among them. Finally, highly regarded coach Laurie Ellis was named as our new assistant manager and hopefully he will bring fresh impetus to the squad.
