Four-vehicle smash causes long city delays

A four-vehicle collision has caused long delays on the A720 Edinburgh bypass.

The accident yesterday occurred eastbound between the Baberton and Dreghorn junctions around 8:20am.

One lane was closed due to a fuel spill as a result of the crash.

It was re-opened at 9:45am once the incident was cleared. Traffic queued back to Hermiston Gait and then on to the M8 to the Newbridge junction.
