Lister reveals 205mph drop-top version of devilish LFT-666

British sports car maker Lister has revealed plans for a limited-run open-top version of its LFT-666. The LFT-C will be Lister’s most powerful and fastest convertible ever, with a top speed of 205mph and a 0-60mph time of “just over three seconds”. Lister say the model has come about after high customer demand for a drop-top version of the LFT-666.

Despite that high customer demand, the company will only produce 10 examples of the 666bhp convertible, with prices starting at £139,000. Each car will feature a solid silver plaque marking it as one of a strictly limited run.

The LFT-666 is based on a heavily modified Jaguar F-type and like that car, the LFT-C features a supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine driving all four wheels.

The LFT-C receives the same bespoke wheels, exhaust, suspension and braking system as its hardtop sibling along with exclusive carbonfibre body panels, designed and manufactured by Lister.

Unique Lister additions to the standard F-type shell include front bumper, front splitter, rear diffuser, rear lip spoiler, rear extended wheel arches, a new grille design, and new lightweight alloys. The LFT-C also gets a bespoke, handstitched Nappa leather interior from Bridge of Weir and every model will be unique, prepared to each buyer’s own specification, from the wheel design to the paintwork.
