Campbell in quandary over line-up

-

Arbroath can clinch the League 1 title today if they win at Forfar and Raith Rovers lose at East Fife, but manager Dick Campbell, for once, is unsure what his line-up will be.

This is a change of approach by Campbell, who said: “I usually pick my team on Wednesday night after training but I have not done that this week. It is potentially a huge game, it certainly is for our fans as more than 1,500 are heading to Forfar, and I need to have the right strikers starting.

“I have tried different players and different combinations, but no-one has grabbed a starting jersey. I therefore thought that this week I would take a bit of extra time to contemplate.”

Forfar have plenty to play for and Campbell is not counting his chickens. He added: “Forfar are closing in on a play-off place. They have won every home game since we won there in December and there is a lot of local pride at stake.”

Forfar will put up stiff resistance and manager Jim Weir said: “No-one wants a party in their own backyard that they are not invited to.”
