Arrest after alleged rape of 23-year-old

A man has been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of a woman at a property in Aberdeen.

The 23-year-old was subjected to an alleged serious sexual assault in the city’s Raeburn Place between 3.15am and 4.15am on Saturday. The 21-year-old suspect is expected to appear in court today.

Detective Inspector Allen Shaw said: “We are grateful to the community for its support with our inquiries.”
