Can indyref2
Most Scots don’t want a second referendum on independence in the next five years, a poll for the Progress Scotland think tank, led by former SNP deputy leader Angus Robertson, revealed.
Let’s have an end to all this nonsense about another referendum. There shouldn’t even have been a referendum in 2014. There was no overwhelming demand for it – those who doubt that should check the result.
World Wide Football Fan Didn’t we have exactly this two years ago, I’m beginning to see a pattern, every two years we push it to at least five years away.

If Scots would like it, there should be a second independence referendum in 2034. That would be 20 years since the 2014 one, which we were told on numerous occasions by Sturgeon and Salmond was a “once in a generation” event. The majority of us are sick to death of hearing about “indyref2”. We would like the Scottish Government to govern our country effectively with the extensive powers that they currently hold. If they do a brilliant job, people will be much more keen to vote for independence next time.

If anyone in Scotland wants to have a referendum, let’s not have another indyref one as it is far too soon. Let’s have one on devolution and whether we want to keep the Scottish Parliament at all or reform it in some way.

There is no case for independence, so what is the point of another unwanted, highly divisive referendum?

Even if there was another indymince ref and if the Yes vote won then the score would be... one all. So, we would need another referendum to see who the winner is ... but there again, if the loser refused to accept the result as in 2014 then it would have to be the best of five!
