Back to mine: Scotgold cheers potential extensions to Highland-focused remit

-

Scotgold, the Aim-quoted company aiming to launch Scotland’s first commercial gold mine, has presented the findings of orientation test surveys regarding its Cononish gold and silver mine near Tyndrum. In addition to noting the potential for extensions to the Cononish ore body, the business is much more certain that the nearby Beinn Udlaidh area is a prospective gold target. Chief executive Richard Gray said: “It is very encouraging that what was in effect a calibration exercise has already identified new targets within the test area over the Cononish deposit.”
