Chiene + Tait doubles up in Inverness growth drive

- By SCOTT REID

Accountancy firm Chiene + Tait has ramped up its Inverness operation just two years after opening an office in the Highlands capital.

The practice has moved into a larger 1,200 square foot office at Fairways House in the city’s Fairways Business Park.

The move follows “rapid growth” of its initial team of two with the firm now currently recruiting its eighth Invernessbased colleague. The new premises will enable the firm to double in size in due course.

Shona Fraser, director and joint head of C+T’S Inverness, said: “This is another exciting step forward. The new, larger premises will give us room to further expand the firm and allow us to double our overallteamgoingforward.”

Meanwhile, Glasgowheadquartered chartered accountant Wylie & Bisset has opened an office in Manchester’s financial district as it gears up to target growth across the north of England. The new office is headed by the firm’s joint managing partner Ross Mclauchlan.
