Celtic Grinding it out

- Kevin Graham

The clocks went forward but we went back in time on and off the park. The chaos that is being called entertainment blinds that this was two teams struggling for form squaring up to each other. Squaring up was all they had to offer in the end.

Another late winner and I hoped that, if our superior players didn’t tell, then our superior mentality would. That proved to be the case, and I am happy with the three points after we managed the game poorly. We played the occasion and not the team in front of us. This wouldn’t have happened under Brendan Rodgers and that’s why he left with seven trophies. He managed the games. Team selections and performances suggest we are just going to grind out the season and hope it’s enough for another treble.
