Man dies after single-vehicle car crash

A man has died after a single-vehicle crash on the A862 in the Highlands.

A silver Volkswagen Golf, which had been travelling west to Beauly, was involved in the crash at 1:30pm on Tuesday.

The 60-year-old was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, where he later died.

Road Policing Sergeant Angus Murray said: “In order to help establish the cause of the collision, I would urge anyone who believes they may have seen the vehicle on the day of the collision to come forward if you haven’t already done so.”
