Weather delight for Topps Tiles
Topps Tiles benefited from better weather during the first half as the group pushed ahead with its strategy of targeting retail and commercial customers.
Like-for-like sales were up 0.2 per cent for the 26 weeks to 30 March. Although sales fell by 1.4 per cent in the first quarter, this was offset by a 1.8 per cent rise during the second quarter.
