Partick Thistle Selection spot on

I said last week Thistle badly needed to put a run of wins together and Saturday was an excellent start. Whilst I criticised the manager’s team selection the week before, he got it bang on at the weekend. We’d seen glimpses of a potential partnership between Kris Doolan and Scott Mcdonald at Alloa in January and finally they started together at Morton. It worked a treat. Doolan reminded his manager he is a goalscorer if given the right service. Both strikers pulled the Ton defence all over the place and 3-0 flattered the home side who look in real trouble.

The weekend saw surprise wins for Alloa and Queen of the South which made our victory all the more vital. Onwards and upwards now for Thistle.
