May to June

-

Theresa May has written to European Council president Donald Tusk asking for an extension to Article 50 to 30 June.

It would appear that the longer May defers actually leaving the EU, the longer she can stay in office. She must really like those curtains...

All going according to the EU plans. They are still trying to keep us in the EU against the democratic will of the people of the UK.

Followed by an extension to December 31, followed by an extension to 30 June 2020, followed by a complete cancellation. The new shameful form of democracy.

Auld Reekie of an albatross hanging around the neck of this abysmal Tory Government.

We should just leave, then come to trade agreements with the EU and other countries, we are currently working on getting trade agreements in place with other countries but the dates keep changing, so it is weakening our position in those negotiations.

Doubt the EU will agree to June 30, and will insist on a 12-month minimum with the ability to exit once a deal is approved. They don’t want to keep coming back to this again and again.
