The Widow

This new STV thriller sees Kate Beckinsale star as Georgia Wells, a reclusive widow who, three years after believing her husband Will died in a plane crash in the Democratic Republic of Congo, sees him in the background of a news report. It prompts Georgia to head for Kinshasa, where she reunites with Judith Gray, played by Alex Kingston, Will’s enigmatic erstwhile business partner, and Emmanuel Kazadi (Jacky Ido), a local Congolese journalist she met three years previously after his wife was also a victim of the crash.
