Humane beings

-

Surely the desperately cold and soulless society is the one that forces dying people to endure their last days in terrible pain against their will? In Scotland today we are better than that.

The importance of top quality palliative care goes without saying but it is not always enough. A truly humane and compassionate society understands this and would therefore allow dying people to choose an assisted death if they feel their suffering has become too much.
