Good girls
We have read recently about the very aggressive behaviour by some of our high profile senior footballers, which is not a very good example for younger players.
Recently, my wife and I had the pleasure of attending a very important football match between the girls of South Morningside Primary 6/7 versus Liberton Primary 6/7 in which our granddaughter was taking part.
The match was fiercely contested by both teams ending in a 1-1 draw without any aggressive behaviour by either side. At the end the two teams lined up and shook hands with each other.
Well done girls – you are a credit to your coaches and teachers.
