Tom died peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Guthrie House, Edinburgh, aged 93 years. Loving husband of Isabel, father to John and Mary, father-in-law to Maureen and a loving grandad to Dorothy, Claire, David, Lisa, Sarah and Gregor. After a career in Scottish local government finance (in Dunbar, Forfar, Galashiels and Selkirk), Tom worked as a member of the Accounts Commission based in Edinburgh before he retired in 1985. Funeral service in Palmerston Place Church, Edinburgh at 1 pm, on Friday, April 19, 2019, thereafter at Warriston Crematorium, Cloister Chapel at 2.30 pm. Family and friends are cordially invited to either or both services. Family flowers only please, but donations for Alzheimers Scotland would be gratefully received at the church/crematorium.
