Heart of Midlothian Unrest over Levein

-

Losing a derby is never a good feeling but this one has stirred up considerable unrest about the manager. I said before results must be a factor and, after a poor last season, finishing sixth and not winning the cup would have to call into question Craig Levein’s future. There is a sharp contrast with the impact Steve Clarke had at Kilmarnock and Hibernian have certainly enjoyed an immediate boost from their appointment.

Hearts were unlucky on Saturday with another penalty denied and played okay in parts but we can’t always be unlucky or happy that, if the performance is okay, results will come. A friend who has had a season ticket for 43 years says he may not renew with Levein in charge. If we lose on Saturday he may not be alone.
