St Mirren Refreshing change

Oran Kearney surprised a lot of people when he announced a much-changed line-up against Celtic on Wednesday, despite Saints appearing to find a winning formula at long last. Even the most optimistic fan would not have bet against the double treble winners gaining an easy win, but the new-look Buddies impressed in parts.

It turned out to be a good decision from the gaffer, as the usual suspects put in a battling performance in the draw against Hamilton and it could have been a different result if Brad Lyons showed more composure in the box. Goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky, who has been very impressive since signing in January, starred in both games. Bring on the nail-biting five-game finale.
