Celtic Treading water

Sometimes we just need to look at things simply. In football we always look to complicate the reasons for performances and results. My ten-yearold daughter, attending her first game of the season on Saturday, said afterwards that Celtic were by far the better team but just couldn’t score. And that was it in a nutshell. The dreams we have as children will fade away.

Nothing is simple at the moment, though. We are either blaming Rodgers for leaving or Lennon for performances. We are now maybe looking for Lennon to inject some energy into a squad that has been treading water and looking tired since August. Is it time for Lennon to raise his voice and do some things his way? But that is a massive gamble when faced with a semi-final and possible employment beyond May.
