The first photograph of a black hole has been released, depicting its hot, shadowy edges where light bends around itself in a cosmic funhouse effect.

Dame Darcey Bussell has stepped down as a judge from Strictly Come Dancing. She will leave the hugely popular BBC show after seven years on the judging panel. @Starsinclass posted: “Good Luck Darcey. You were a sophisticated, genuine, knowledge [sic] member of the #Strictlycomedancing panel. We will miss you.” @Amber_alicia8 pleaded on behalf of a guest judge: “@bbcstrictly please can @alfonso_ribeiro replace Darcey because to be honest I’d be extremely happy with ‘Carlton’ being a full-time judge.” @seannyarmagh added: “Gutted you are leaving, Darcey – you have been fabulous and incredible and genuine! The Duke of Sussex will join US television presenter Oprah Winfrey for a multipart Apple TV documentary series that will focus on mental health.
