Partick Thistle Jangling nerves

- Raymond Stark

Never has the phrase “squeaky bum time” been more apt as we head towards the end of the Championship. After the midweek results it’s looking like 40 points is the magic number. With only four points separating sixth from tenth it really is going to be a nail biter of a finish.

After 25 minutes of Thistle’s game on Saturday things were looking grim for us, 2-0 down and no signs of a comeback. But fair play to the boys, they rolled their sleeves up and battled back to get a draw. In fact, had it not been for the heroics of Ryan Scully in the Dunfermline goal the Jags would have taken all three points which would have put us nearer our target. We have arguably the more difficult run-in on paper, but you never know in this league.
