Queen of the South Dobbie despair

- Neil Cameron

A little bit of positivity had returned to our support after we staged a mini revival of sorts with the unexpected win at Tannadice and our late leveller against Falkirk last week. Alas it was short-lived, and it is now back to worrying times after only picking up one point from Morton’s visit on Saturday and our midweek trip to Ayr.

Whilst we are still in the dizzy heights of seventh spot, and only a point off sixth, what is probably more relevant is that we are three points ahead of bottom spot and just two points above the play-offs. One cause for confidence was our trump card Stephen Dobbie. To say the sight of him limping off the Somerset pitch after half an hour was a concern would be an understatement. We are in trouble.
