Ukraine embassy incident arrest

A 40-year-old man arrested following an incident outside the Ukrainian Embassy in London has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act.

Police say he was initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after driving towards armed police outside the embassy in Holland, Park, west London, on Saturday morning.

He was taken to hospital for a check-up before being questioned. Police confirmed he has now been sectioned.

Police said the man was not injured in the arrest.
