Indyref2 time-out
Independence supporters should be in no rush to stage a second referendum when recent polls suggest they are unlikely to win, a prominent Yes campaigner has argued.
An early election could kill off the Tories. They’re currently polling 17 per cent.

Howmanydaysisitnow since the First Minister told Holyrood that she would reveal her plans for Indyref2 “in a few days”? She made that statement after her Green party coalition partners openly mocked her for making “a few weeks” stretch to months. Only the clinically deluded do not know that Indyref2 is off the table through the long grass and into the dark woods beyond... Oh, and of course those that make a living from trying to make out Indyref2 might actually happen.
Roastin Nicola has previously stated that another poll should be in a generation and more recently when the position is settled after Brexit. Both these positions do not look likely this year and therefore calling a poll now would be breaking her promises to the Scottish people; 70 per cent of them in a recent poll showed they did not want a vote within two years.
GASBAG55 Like it or not, there is no appetite for another Indyref. Those within the SNP who are demanding one probably have ulterior motives for such demands. Do they want rid of their great (grate) leaderette? She is becoming a millstone around the necks of the Seps and is now a bonus for the Remain campaigners.

Flag-wavers take note. See there were yet more lunatics out waving flags yesterday next to main roads. Why are the police not moving them on? It’s an obvious danger to traffic. The constant quest for another neverendumreferendum will continue to be a turn-off. Keeping it ramped up with no underlying justification only feeds the already converted.
